KinkToberFest is an immersive, inclusive, and exhilarating four-day journey of discovery, connection, and
play—brought to you by NM-REAL, Inc. and our vibrant community of collaborators. Whether you’re coming to
learn, to play, to connect—or all of the above—there’s something at KinkToberFest for everyone 21+ who
craves excitement, education, and exploration in our community. Beyond attendance and learning, there are
opportunities to volunteer, educate, vend, organize, and find your place in the fun. This is an alcohol-free and
drug-free event. Here is a bit more about eight aspects of our event:
Community
New Mexico’s community is composed of a diverse group of organizations and individuals. We sometimes come together in larger events like Kinktoberfest to learn from each other, and share with others from outside of New Mexico.Leather
It’s not just about “Leather,” a term that has often used as a binding term across alternative and kink communities. There has been growing differentiation with kinks and interests outside of typical “Leather” interests that Kinktoberfest celebrates.Inclusion
A principle value in our community is respectful inclusion of different kink interests, sexual orientations, sexualities, ages, body types, neurodiversity, and other factors. Fostering a welcoming environment for all respectful individuals, together we are stronger and can have more fun.Education
Education is central in our community, particularly to understand the complexities of consent and safety that may not be understood from normative or popular culture. Our events hold many classes from national educators and those that are local.Kink
Embracing Kink as normative creates safe space to explore in ways that are consensual and safe. We seek to create a safe space to explore, learn, and experience alternative community practices and lifestyles in a welcoming and protective enfironment.BDSM
“BDSM” is just an acronym that describes aspects of what humanity has been doing from its inception. Discussing and exploring it openly, rather than repressing it as a negative, allows us to educate about the importance of consent and safety, and have a lot of fun!Artisans
Our community artisans provide enjoyment and practical means to explore our community. They provide toys, artwork, practical equipment, photography, and care for our products, such as Bootblacks. We see these artisans as essential to our experience.Play
Play is about having fun, practicing, seeking mutual connection and joy. Our events include time to play with friends and and explore new things with tastings and intimate time with others in a safe monitored environment. Play can just be watching to learn!Who’s Involved?
This event was held the same time last year in different parts by different names. We are formalizing the event and expanding to fill available facility space and interest in the community. KinkToberFest will be held at the Purgatory/Spectrum space. The list of organizations involved will grow from our original organizers, NM-REAL (nm-real.org), Spectrum Parties (spectrumparties.com), Purgatory Dungeon (purgatorydungeon.com), and produced by Domum Corium Cordis (houseofleatherheart.org). Onyx High Desert, Sidewinders Bar & Grill / ABQ Eagle, and FCCK, are also a partners in this event. We welcome more community involvement! Contact us.

Visiting from Chicago with high energy and fun, Master Leather Redux and Raea teach at Leather Archives & Museum's Kink Klass Series as well as events including Naughty Revival, TESFest, SPLF, SELF, and most recently at International Mr. Leather 2025. They are Co-Directors for MAsT Chicago.

Master Joshua
From the Kink Collective in New York City, Masters Cat & Joshua are the 2025 Northeast Power Exchange Educational title holders. Cat has been club owner and event producer at the Kink Collective. Joshua has been a professional Dominant for over a decade.
Mufasa Ali
From Chicago, Mufasa is co- founder of the Men of ONYX, ONYX National Council Chairman Emeritus, Patriarch of Mufasa's Pride, Leather History Preservation Foundation founding Board Member, Mr World Leather 2006/2007 and the ONYX Leatherman 1997. Mufasa has received many awards.
Ty the Gentleman
Arriving from Las Vegas, Nevada, Ty used to reside in Albuquerque. Ty is a Leatherman and entertainer that explores the boundaries of Kink. He produces a variety of events and also is a DJ. We’re happy to have him here to mix for our play party and entertainment sessions!
Master Malik &
SweetSalt
Master Malik from Tulsa & SweetSalt from the DFW area are very experienced and broadly active in our community. They will presenting on Blood Ritual & Cutting as well as Restorative Justice - 2nd Chance.

We’re creating a connected and engaging Kink/Leather event with Kinktoberfest. Yes - all such events do this in
their own way through activities such as classes, speakers, contests, play parties, socials. We’re being inspired
by our community partners including NM-REAL, FCCK, SpectrumABQ, Purgatory, Sidewinders, and others.
Here’s what to expect at Kinktoberfest.

Social Time, Social Spaces
o
Many separate spaces throughout the facility.
o
Talk in groups, huddle, meet others.
o
Periodic optional mini-activities.
o
Periodic free raffles for ticket-holders highlighting our vendors products and other items.

Classes
o
Many national-level educators & speakers, keynote, with new ideas from afar.
o
Many local educators with wonderful skills and insights.
o
Fridays - About 4 classes each Friday in one session.
o
Weekend - About 25 classes (4-6 classes in five sessions).

Entertainment
o
Fantasy shows at the start of play party time! Will be fun!
o
(optional) Be the entertainment - exhibitionist room to show off to others during play parties.
o
Optional time at Sidewinders S4200/ABQ Eagle with our event partner, Onyx High Desert on the evening
of 1 November. Don’t want to go to the play party or only go to the play party for the fantasies? Get out
and have fun at Sidewinders for social time, tastings, dancing, and cigar area.

Two areas with many separate spaces to explore.

DJ - Light music, couches, beds, glory hole, slings, BDSM equipment.

Quieter area and dungeon space, social space to rest.
o
Entertainment fantasy shows start the evening play parties.
o
Tasting opportunities.
o
BDSM, Sex positive, both, and neither. You don’t have to engage in sex or BDSM to be at the play
parties.
o
Separate male-identifying and female-identifying spaces in addition to overall pan space.
o
Pickup-play meetings & locations during play for those looking to meet new people, explore.

o
Bootblack available to care for your leathers.

Space for seven vendors.
o
Free open public time for our community that wants to see the vendors, but not attend Kinktoberfest.
